Looking for Recipe for Mushroom Lasagna
While in Todi, we had a mushroom lasagna as a prima course. It had many layers of paper thin pasta and a finely dices mushroom filling. tThe slices were only about 1/2" thick. All the recipes I've found are too substantial. Does anyone have suggestions?

Yes PastaPat- there is an amazing recipe from Dean and Deluca - its a mixture of wild mushrooms - white mushrooms, shallots and smoked moz. Its very subtle dish but the flavors are deep and woodsy -you can use fresh pasta or the no bake noodles which come out wonderful and lite in this recipe. Google Dean and Deluca - its on their site
Enjoy

Ciao PP: Twice now I have made a superb mushroom lasagne featured in the NYTimes, starting 11/24/11 (It also appeared in the Sunday Magazine that week. (Google "Gooey Mushroom Lasagne, New York Times" and it should get you there.
Also, there appears to be a much lighter recipe for this dish, also in the NYT, from October 10, 2011. I have not tried it, though I probably will. Good luck e Buona Cucina,
